On the ground floor of the hotel « Garden House» there is a restaurant a la carte «Paul the First», it is the place for real gourmands and those who love Russian cuisine of all variety. Its interior designed in discreet, Maltese  style, so inherent to Emperor Paul, combines in a harmony different architectural  details: authentic furniture made of dark wood, the walls of dark clay brick, drop-forged chandeliers, hand-made  candlesticks and lamp holders, marble fireplace. Beautiful view of the Emperor’s park from the windows and cozy atmosphere contribute to peaceful repose and communication. During chilly winter nights the fireplace in a Big Hall is set and candles are lighted. The restaurant chef offers to customers traditional Russian meals: cold roasted ham, boiled tongue with horse radish, pork fat,  herring with boiled potatoes and various pickles. Tea is served with blueberry pie.
